Refund Policy
Effective date: 08 August 2025
1. Purpose & Scope
This Refund Policy applies to payments, fees, donations, event registrations, merchandise purchases, and services provided by Jay Bhavani Foundation. It explains when refunds are available, how they are processed, and how you can request one.
2. Donations
- All donations made to Jay Bhavani Foundation are generally non-refundable.
- In exceptional cases such as duplicate charges or proven payment errors, the Foundation may issue a refund after verification.
3. Event Registrations & Training Fees
Refunds for paid events, workshops, or training are handled as follows unless specific event terms state otherwise:
- Cancellation at least 7 days prior to the event: 75% refund.
- Cancellation between 3–6 days prior: 50% refund.
- Cancellation within 3 days of the event: no refund, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- If the Foundation cancels an event, registrants will receive a full refund or a credit for a future event, at the Foundation’s discretion.
4. Merchandise & Physical Products
- Returns or refunds for physical products are accepted only in case of damage, defect, or incorrect delivery.
- Requests must be made within 7 days of receipt and should include proof of purchase and photos of the issue.
5. Service-Based Refunds
For services such as counseling, consultancy, or long-term programs, refund terms (if any) will be specified in the service agreement. Once services have commenced, refunds may be prorated or unavailable depending on the agreement.
6. Payment Errors, Duplicates & Chargebacks
- If you notice a duplicate charge or payment error, contact us immediately so we can investigate.
- If a chargeback is initiated by your bank or card issuer, the Foundation will cooperate with the payment provider and provide documentation to resolve the dispute.
7. How Refunds Are Processed
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method whenever possible.
- Refunds may take 7–14 business days to appear, depending on the payment provider and bank processing times.
8. Required Documentation
To process a refund, we may require proof of payment, transaction IDs, identification, or other documentation. Please provide complete information to speed up processing.
9. Fraud & Abuse
The Foundation reserves the right to refuse refunds if there is evidence of fraud, abuse, or misuse of services or funds.
10. How to Request a Refund
Please email your refund request to info@jaybhavanifoundation.org with the subject line "Refund Request — [Donation/Invoice/Transaction ID]" and include:
- Full name and contact information.
- Transaction date and transaction ID or receipt.
- Reason for refund and any supporting documents or photos.
11. Governing Law
This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Gujarat, India.
